Our collaboration with MONSTRA Lisbon Animated Festival began in 2020, and since then, our partnership has only strengthened through shared values of creativity, multiculturalism, and a deep commitment to art. Each year, we develop new ways to bring the festival and its audience closer. In 2021, we transformed festival-goers into monsters through an interactive installation. In 2022 and 2023, we created an augmented reality app that unleashed MONSTRA’s colorful characters into cities worldwide, empowering users to explore their creativity. For 2024, we developed our first VR short film, The Girl Who Speaks with the Wild-ish Horses, which premiered at the opening ceremony. This year, for the 25th edition of MONSTRA Lisbon Animated Festival, we bring past editions to life. Through augmented reality, visitors are invited to uncover the story behind each poster simply by selecting a year and pointing at it.
